KNOW OUR PURPOSE
IT’S TIME TO
WHY FASO EXISTS
FASO exists to help young people and families grow through sports, mentorship, education, leadership and service. We create environments where people can be known, protected, encouraged, challenged and equipped to build meaningful lives.
We believe children and families should not have to drift away from their beliefs in order to participate in sports and community life. Our work seeks to reflect the character and teachings of Jesus through compassion, integrity, courage, forgiveness, practical help and genuine love for people.
TRAIN AND EQUIP
THE NEXT GENERATION
“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” — Proverbs 22:6
FASO surrounds young people with healthy instruction, caring relationships, positive examples, discipline, opportunity and encouragement—lessons and support that can remain with them throughout their lives.
SERVE AS HE SERVED
The way Jesus served people gives FASO a standard to keep working toward. We seek to meet people where they are, listen with compassion, help with real needs whenever we can, and allow trust to grow over time. We will not do this perfectly, but we are committed to learning, improving and serving with humility. When genuine trust exists, we hope to encourage people toward faith, growth and purpose.
